"Work like you don't need the money; dance like no one is watching; sing like no one is listening; love like you've never been hurt; and live every day as if it were your last."

Moments Before the Dawn
i love the stillness of dawn
of that time
those moments before dawn
where the world is paused,
holding
its collective breath
wondering what the reasons are
waiting for truth
for the purity of it all
the hope of fulfillment,
the promise of what
is possible
with the new day
even hidden by rain
its reassurance is there
transforming
in its beauty
enhanced
with (perhaps?) the clarity of rain
washing away all
that we don't need
that we hold onto
that is unfulfilled
or hurt
or hidden
it somehow finds a way
to creep out
between the cracks
in those moments
before the dawn

This is not a poem.
Not really.
It was more of journal entry that seemed to have an interesting timing to it and when written out all pretty and funky.. kind of looks like a poem.
That is all.

(Note: I don't add people on Facebook unless I've meet them in real life & had a real conversation!)
I also have a professional Facebook profile for contacts in the health, wellness, Pilates, massage and teaching areas. Contact me via one of the other means to see about that.
Oh.. and my blogs & sites I recommend below.. I will split them into categories soon, or as the list develops/grows longer.. in case you were wondering, for now I've added a (category) in brackets.
Hope that helps :)
